Tori at Rest Pastel on paper |
| Artist's Note Pastels were the first medium I worked in. They were both quick to work with and required no drying time as oil paint does. Tori, pictured to the left, was a rescue Bull Terrier. She was a huge gift for many years. In her last days she developed dementia - very agitated and confused. I brought her to my studio and she was only still enough to draw in her brief moments of rest. I never got the chance to do a painting of her in oil. |
